Like alot of people I am skeptical about ghosts. I guess you could say I’m the “I’ll believe it if I see it” type. I have heard about ghost orbs in the past, but didn’t really pay any attention to them until one ended up in a picture that was taken of me.

We were on a weekend getaway to our favorite summer hangout at Weeki Wachee Springs and about a quarter of the way through the river we started taking some pictures. Unfortunately about 3/4 through the river our camera died :( . When we got back to the house and reviewed the pictures we found that three pictures that were taken close to each other had these mysterious ghost orbs. I know alot of people are skeptical about these type of pictures and they have good reason. There are many phony ghost orb pictures out there. Nothing was done to alter these photos, they are real! What is causing the orbs in the pictures is a mystery to me and is what I am trying to find out.

I have done some research about what causes the orbs in the pictures and a couple of suspects are pollen or dust. With trees surrounding the river we were travling, pollen seems possible. But in the third picture the ghost orb remains. I just don’t think that a spec of pollen would stay around long enough at just the right distance from the camera to get in several pictures that were taken while going down the river. I also read that most fake pictures are taken with the flash, which is not the case with these photos.

The camera used was a cannon rebel and the lens wasn’t dirty. The pictures taken right after these had no orbs and we didn’t see any more ghost orbs in any of the other pictures that were taken that day. I don’t know what it is, but if anyone has an answer please comment.

(Yes, they are different pictures)
